With the current development of industrial technology, hydraulic drive and control technologies are also evolving, thus a higher requirement for the performance of hydraulic motor has set up.For the conventional hydraulic motor rotor, one rotator corresponds to one stator, and only one speed can achieved. A series of novel kind of pumps and motors was designed which based on a new structure called double-stator. For double-stator, one rotator correspond two stators and more than one pump or motor can work alone or be combined just in one shell. Differential motors are acquired, which expand the range of applications and improve the adaptability for hydraulic motors. As the distance between the inner and outer stators is equal, no returning springs and such mechanisms are required. Comparing the motors with the same action times and volume, two motors are formed in one shell for double-stator structure. So it takes the advantages of small size, light weight, and high efficiency in specific power.In this paper, firstly the research status and development trend of hydraulic technology and axial hydraulic motor were reviewed. A theory for multi-pump and multi-motor hydraulic systems is presented based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the popular hydraulic transmission and the hydraulic motor (pump). And use the three-dimensional computer modeling software solidworks solid modeling them in order to better understand the structure and principles of the motor.
