As society advances, the human demand for energy is growing. The energy using now, mostly rely on coal, oil, gas and other non-renewable resources, which reserves are limited. And it will emit large amounts of greenhouse gases in the combustion process, which will bring a series of environmental problems. Wind energy, solar energy and other renewable energy has the advantages of clean, the use of pollution-free, widely distributed, inexhaustible, which are able to solve our energy shortage and environmental problems in great extent, at the same time, also solve the problem of electricity in remote areas and island. Because wind energy, solar energy has the unique advantage, that using wind energy, solar power has been popular with governments.Wind energy mostly changes with the seasons, and has the characteristics of intermittent; solar energy is not only subject to seasonal change, and only works during the day. Therefore, the power from pure solar energy or wind energy power is Unstable and Unreliable, which restricts the utilization of wind energy and solar energy.Wind energy, solar energy have highly complementary in time and season: the solar is enough and the wind is small during the day, but at night without light, the wind is strong; in summer, sunlight is intensity but the wind is small, in winter sunlight is weak but wind is strong . The complementary make the wind / photovoltaic hybrid generation system owning best resources matching. This feature makes solar energy and wind energy combined, which will improve power system stability and reliability.The main work is design and realization of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic generation independent power system. This paper will introduce composition of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic generation independent power system and their the features, functions, etc The main goal of this paper is design and realization of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic generation independent power system and focus on the research of 48V intelligent controller wind and solar maximum power tracking strategy. There are three main contents in the paper:(1) Design system architecture of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic intelligent controller. Controller consists of hardware and software, which are designed by modular method. 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic intelligent controller Composed by wind power modules, solar charging module, load control module, the core control module, power module, which not only make designers fix purpose, but also reduces the design difficulty, reducing development cycles. The same as design of hardware, the software composed by seven function modules, which reduce software complexity, and the software design, testing, maintenance get easy.(2) Design software and hardware circuits of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic intelligent controller. DC / DC converter applies two-transistor forward circuit, in which the switch voltage stress is low, especially suitable for medium and high power applications. In this paper, the PWM frequency is 50KHZ, which makes the size of transformers and inductors small, to achieve 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic intelligent controller miniaturization.(3) Design the maximum tracking control strategy of 48V hybrid wind and photovoltaic intelligent controller. Output power of solar panels with nonlinear characteristics is affected by temperature, light intensity, load. In order to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency, Maximum Power Point Tracking is required. In this paper, Self-learning MPPT method is proposed, which is based on Perturbation and Observation method. This method uses the regularity of temperature and light intensity changes of one day, learn trend of maximum power point voltage in order to directional disturbance, reduce the disturbance times and shorten the tracking time.
