With the developing of the Chinese domestic wind energy industry, the cost competition is getting more and more severe. The exhausting wind resource makes the customer keep asking for enlarged rotor for better CP. But it means the wind turbine should bearing much more loads. So how to ensure the safety of the wind turbine, matters to the manufacturers.This article is focused on designing the main structure parts of a wind turbine. First 3D models are built by SolidWorks, and then ANSYS Workbench 12 and HyperMesh 10.0 were used to mesh the models for each part. The boundary conditions are set in ANSYS Classic interface. Strength and stiffness analyzing were carried out, stress and displacement contour were gained for the design load cases. On linear analyzing, considering material types, size effects and processing conditions, fatigue analysis were performed both the damage and estimated life time were acquired. Modal analysis were carried out using ANSYS for studying natural frequencies and deformations.
