Stepping motors are widely used in automatic control field with tens ofyears’development. The performances of stepping motor are related closely with itsdriver, consequently, the study on driver of stepping motor gets more and more attention.Because of its low frequency characteristics, when the stepper motor work at lowfrequency, the resolution is not high, prone to oscillation, running is not smooth, cannotsatisfy the requirement of high precision.Which subdivided driving stepper motor drivetechnology is the best control effect and can solve the above problems.Based on Analysis and settle domestic and overseas literature about Subdivideddriving technology, this paper, by using electric current vector even rotation SPWM sinesubdivision method, designed base on FPGA is two phase stepping motor subdivisiondrive system. The system is consists of FPGA control module, FPGA core board,current protection circuit, optical coupling isolation circuit, power amplifier circuit andbridge driving circuit. And by using the software Quartus II timing simulation to FPGAcontrol module internal module, use the oscilloscope has completed for stepping motorsubdivision current observation. The results show that the system hardware andsoftware design was reasonable, the realization of the aim of the subdivision of motorwinding current, improved stepper motor running performance.
