Design Of Feeding Control System For Biomass Power Plant

Bio-mass energy is the only storable and transportable renewable energy, and for the time being, is the most hopeful substituting energy to realize the utilization at a large scale. The application of the bio-mass energy is very significant to improve the energy structure, guarantee the energy safety and reduce the environmental pollution. Biomass power generation is the important way of biomass utilization. Biomass Power Plant play a major role in making effective use of bio-mass energy.This paper introduces a new feeding control system aiming at Biomass Power Plant have a lower automation degree and higher failure in communication.This paper optimizes the process on production line base on the analysis and research of production process and the spot factory environment.Taking IPC, remote test and control modules and CAN-BUS, combing with advanced control system, this paper builds a feeding control system.The control programe is written to accomplish automatic completion of convying, weighing, unpacking and drying in accordance with the technological process. Design Human-Computer interface simultaneously to realize processing monitoring, account management, information inquiry, system maintenance and other functions.Expert-PID controller is used to the optmization of drying process on the base of realizing the functions of feeding control system. Through the simulation and comparison between Expert-PID controller and traditional PID controller using the insertion SIMULINK in MATLAB.The simulation result indicates that the Expert-PID control’s response speed is quick, overshoot is small, the ability of resistance is better.Compared with the PLC distributed control system, the feeding control system designed has a flexible structure and a low cost, and it is easy to expand and upgrade.
