With the urban space reconstruction, social transformation, residents’living space shifts to community, and as the resident activities-travel departure terminal, the built environment of community directly effects the residents’activities-travel decision. Public transport as the existing facilities, with the state implements the "bus priority" policy, makes public transport increasingly significant impact on residents’ travel. How to better coordinate the urban public transportation and residents travel to guide residents use efficiency and environmental public transportation is increasingly urgent. Therefore, research on the impact of community public transport accessibility to residents’activities-travel decisions and its function mechanism has important practical significance. This study combined with the national natural science foundation of China (no.51068013), based on the theory of activity-based travel behavior analysis, based on time geography for micro individual daily activities-travel analysis framework, research community public transport accessibility impact on residents’ activities-travel decision-making mechanism. First, starting from the mechanism of individual public mode selection, according to residents’travel demand characteristic of public transport stop, established a public transport stop accessibility measure model based on microscopic individual under spatial-temporal constraint. Secondly, using the2011trip survey data of Kunming, from life time distribution, mobility, activities rhythm and activity space features four aspects to analysis the impact of community public transport accessibility to the residents’activities-travel decisions. Finally, by building the residents travel mode choice structural equation model and public transportation travelers’activities-travel decision-making structural equation model, to explore how the community public transportation accessibility impact on residents activities-travel decisions. The results of this study will provide theoretical support for optimize the public transportation service and guide residents to take more efficient and low-carbon public transport to travel, and reduce car use tendency.
