With the improvement of the economic development and people’s living quality,the heating area and energy consumption in hot summer and cold winter zone presenttrends of growing out of nothing and doubled increasing. How to select appropriateheating pattern of the diversified heating means for urban households, thus improvingthe indoor thermal environment in winter, ensuring comfort level and health, is animportant problem to be solved in the field of building energy saving.Taking residential heating way in hot summer and cold winter zone as the researchobject, the project demonstrates the relative merits of different heating means,deploying simulation study and comprehensive comparison from the aspects ofthermal comfort, economy and applicability, in order to improve scientificity andpreciseness for the selection of heating means. The main research contents as follows:(1)Based on a city residential in hot summer and cold winter area, set up fourkinds of heating means of building model and simulated the indoor velocity field andtemperature field respectively.And through a variety of thermal environment variables,there had some comparison with the indoor thermal environment of the four kinds ofheating.It was concluded that the low temperature hot water floor radiant heating andthe radiant floor embedded radiator heating can meet the requirements of indoorthermal environment. Respectively, the wall air conditioning and the radiator heatingindoor working temperature are lower1.5~3℃and1.5~4.5℃than their and can notmeet the requirement of the thermal environment.(2)Using the PMV-PPD evaluation index, the thermal comfort of human bodyunder the four kinds of heating means are analyzed in comparison.Thermal comfortfrom good to bad is in turn: low temperature hot water floor radiant heating(PPD≤8.2%), the radiant floor embedded radiator heating (PPD≤8.3%), the commonradiator heating (10%≤PPD≤15%),the wall-mounted air conditioning heating(27%≤PPD≤40%).The former two can solve the problem of winter cold foot.(3)As the city residential in hot summer and cold winter area an example,calculated the initial investment of the four kinds of heating means.The study show that the initial investment of the wall-mounted air conditioning heating is lowest, andrespectively the radiant floor panel radiator heating, the low temperature hot waterfloor radiant heating and the ordinary radiator heating will increase168%,126%and168%.(4)At the life cycle cost as economy evaluation index, analyzed the economyof the four kinds of heating means.The result showed that, in the investment horizonof20years, the life cycle cost of the radiant floor embedded radiator heating is thehighest.And correspondingly, the low-temperature hot water floor radiant heating, thecommon radiator heating, the wall air-conditioning heating had a drop of6%,10%and6%respectively.(5)By the study of the characteristics of four kinds of heating means,including economics and thermal comfort, as well as the heat source of qualitative,limitations, energy conservation and environmental protection and operationmaintenance and other characteristics, integrated and compared the advantages anddisadvantages of four kinds of heating means.It is concluded that the low temperaturehot water floor radiant heating is suitable for users that stay indoors long or havehigher requirements for thermal comfort. And it is not suitable for office worker andthe floor covered furniture with larger area. The wall-mounted air conditioningheating is suitable for users who control the economy higher. And it is not suitable forenvironment that the winter outdoor temperature below5℃, or the noise, aircleanliness control strictly, or lampblack heavy occasions.It is suitable for ordinaryradiator heating room use of the structure. And it is not suitable for the height of highroom. The panel radiator radiant floor heating is suitable for the user who has higherrequirements for thermal comfort, as well as for an office worker.
