According to relevant data,“Tourist souvenirs income in developed countriesaccounts for40%-60%tourism GDP, while tourist souvenirs tourism revenue in Chinaaccounts for only20%or so of the GDP." However, as of2011, the total leisure costof the domestic residents in China has exceeded1.6trillion Yuan, Tourist souvenirsplays an important role in the development of tourism industry, which can promoteeconomic development, publicize and popularize the culture of the scenic spots and itis the carrier of tourist’s memories. However, the domestic tourist souvenirs haven’tgot enough attention. The situation shows that there is a big problem in the souvenirindustry in China. There are many reasons in it, such as the similarity of touristsouvenirs, the lack of personalization, lack of brand products, etc. These problemsmust be solved. How to make innovative design for tourist souvenirs is becoming thebiggest problem for the designers.This article tones with my supervisor. The paper makes research on the creativedesign of the tourist souvenirs based on the landscape resources (including culturaland natural landscapes). First of all, I have done a lot researches on relevantinformation and reading work on the tomb preliminary understanding, and aftercollated and analyzed the basic information of the Huangdi Mausoleum scenic spot Iconducted a field investigation and more detailed information (including text, images,data, etc.) collection, including visiting relevant person in charge of the tomb and thelocal residents in order to learn more local customs.After the investigation, I found Mausoleum scenic landscape is rich in resources,there are many design elements which can be extracted, and used, the tomb scenictourist souvenirs is in a famine state. Among the small number of tourist souvenirs,without exception, there is a design similarity issues such as the lack ofpersonalization. This article analyzing the development and design of the status quoof domestic tourist souvenirs (including the design and production status of the tombtourist souvenirs), and finds the problem. Then based on the rich scenic landscaperesources of the tomb, from the perspective of product design, the article makes a depth analysis and research on the design for the tomb tourist souvenirs.The author proposes design countermeasures based on the analysis and findings,and expands the practical design work (including sketches, computer graphics andrendering, etc.). Also, the author does some innovative design and series design(including products logo design, tourist souvenirs design, poster design and productdisplay device design), and draws the final renderings. Some of the designs have beenmade into finished products, which are made into display maps, hoping that we canmake some contribution to the tourism souvenir design, and provide a reference forthe future design of domestic tourist souvenir.
