Shaped charge with double layer liners comprised of reactive material (DLRM) is a new shaped charge structure, the liners comprises an inner layer comprised of the dense material coupled to an outer layer comprised of the reactive group materials. After detonation, dense metal material of inner layer change into jet to penetrating target, reactive material of outer layer as slug enter into the hole and releases energy to destroy target again. DLRM has many advantages like higher material utilization, higher jet head speed and higher damage performance than general liner. There is important significance for improve the penetration capacity to study on DLRM, and it has become an important research direction of shaped charge.The jet formation mechanism and penetration property of DLRM is studied by using theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experimental research, get effect regularity about liners thickness and thickness ratio. The main contents and conclusions as follows:(1) The theoretical model of jet formation mechanism of DLRM is established.On the basis of the PER theory and combining with the Gurney and Chanteret velocity formula, the theoretical model which describe the liners collapse and jet formation of DLRM is established, and the effect regularity about liners thickness and thickness ratio is analyzed.(2) The formation process of jet and penetration property of DLRM is simulated.By exploiting AUTODYN FEM software, the process of forming and penetrating steel and concrete target of DLRM jet is investigated through numerical simulation, and effect regularity about liners thickness and thickness ratio is analyzed. The influence rules of structure parameters of the liners on jet head speed and penetration capacity is studied.(3) Experimental about jet formation and penetration property of DLRM is investigated.The process of jet forming is observed and the penetration property on steel and concrete target of DLRM is measured by experiment. The penetration property of the various kinds of thickness and thickness ratio of DLRM is analyzed. As contrast, experiment includes copper liner and reactive material liner shaped charge. The results show that the measurement result is in concordance with the result of calculation by theory and simulation.
