Today,with the rapid development of military science and technology,anti-armored ammunition has the characteristics of high intelligence,large caliber,large killing and great power after several generations of development.At the same time,it also puts forward higher requirements for the protective performance of armored vehicles.In this paper,theoretical analysis,simulation and experimental verification are combined to systematically demonstrate and analyze.On the basis of traditional reactive armor structure,four kinds of double wedge shaped charge reactive armor with different structures are designed by changing the charge structure.After that,the structure of explosive reaction armor with double wedge charge was optimized by simulating the flying plate running state,head jet velocity and deflection,club fracture,penetration depth and distribution of target plate in the course of missile-target confrontation.At the same time,the effects of normal angle of jet penetration and impact point on its protective performance were analyzed.The results show that:(1)the wedge under ERA of the first layer and the second layer were used to optimize the structure of explosive reaction armor with double wedge charge.The interference effect of double wedge shaped charge structure composed of upper wedge of ERA on shaped charge jet is the best;(2)With the increase of the normal angle of shaped charge penetration,the interference ability of reactive armor of double wedge shaped charge to shaped charge is gradually enhanced.When the normal angle of penetration is 68~o,the interference effect is the best,which is consistent with that of traditional double wedge shaped charge;(3)the target is located in the reactive charge of double wedge shaped charge.The protective capability of reactive armor is ideal between40mm and 160mm on armor.When the target is located at 160mm,the interference effect is the best,which is not consistent with the traditional double-layer reactive armor.(4)When400 mm standard armor-piercing projectile penetrates the double-layer wedge armor with the best structure at 160mm on the target and at 68~onormal angle,the penetration depth decreases by 56.72%and 44.12%,respectively,compared with the traditional double-layer reactive armor.Compared with the explosive reaction armor of layer plate charge,it has better comprehensive protection capability;(5)The numerical analysis results are in good agreement with the experimental results,which provides a reference for the research and development of new reactive armor structure.
