In order to achieve the goal whitch is also the development direction of modern tanks, automation and information technology, and reduce the number of members of the tanks to protect the lives of soldiers, adopting ammunition automatic loading system is an inevitable trend. Ammunition automatic loading systems are generally divided into three parts whitch is ammunition magazine, coordinator and ramming machine. In this paper, the coordinator and ramming machines of automatic ammunition loading system as the research object, put forward a 2DOF coordinator with ramming machine, designed it’s specific structure, analysised it’s dynamic characteristics and studyed the basic PID control method in theory and practice.This paper presents a 2DOF enhance coordination unit of ammunition, designed it’s device structure specifically and drawed it’s 3D model. Secondly, using RecurDyn dynamics modeling software, built a dynamics model of 2DOF ammunition enhance coordination system, and its response in the motor torque characteristic equation to explore the role of each institution. Using MATLAB/Simulink software to establish a coordination unit to enhance the dynamic response of the position control block diagram based on two degrees of freedom PID control method of ammunition, two degrees of freedom to explore the ammunition enhance coordination unit. Enhance the coordination of the device through the existing ratio of two degrees of freedom ammunition experimental model to study the two degrees of freedom ammunition elevated position control response coordination unit.In this paper, two degrees of freedom ammunition enhance coordination unit for the study, with its kinetic model based on virtual prototype and scale model experiments, confirmed the two degrees of freedom to enhance the validity of the design principles and ammunition control method of coordination unit.
