In this paper, a semi-automatic loading mechanism of towed gun is designed and researched. The semi-automatic loading mechanism is composed of ammunition ramming and avoidance mechanism, the two mechanisms jointly complete ammunition ramming of pill. Dynamics simulation software is used to analyze working process of semi-automatic loading mechanism and verify whether the mechanism meets the design requirements, which provides the technical reserves for the development of semi-automatic loading system of towed gun.The main research work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)Deciding the overall scheme of the semi-automatic loading mechanism and the working principle of the ammunition ramming. Based on the traction shells pill size 155mm, the parts and components of the semi-automatic loading mechanism are designed.3D modeling software is used for structural building, and the 3D models of the parts are built and assembled.(2)The system dynamics model of semi-automatic loading is established, and carry out the dynamics simulation analysis. The ramming displacement, bayonet speed, posture and the contact force of loading tray and bore pill along the bore axial line under different working conditions is obtained through the simulation and analysis the working process of ammunition ramming mechanism. The analysis of these results shows that the basic movement characteristics, have reached the consistency requirements of the shell bayonet chamber. The results of simulation and analysis of the avoidance mechanism show that, the avoidance mechanism can achieve expected avoidance action, and meet the requirements of the basic design of the avoidance mechanism.(3)The ammunition ramming mechanism designed is about hydropneumatic equilibrator rammer, inside which, there’s gas and liquid. So, it’s necessary to simulate the multiphase flow in the Oangle of ammunition ramming mechanism. The calculation and analysis of multiphase flowing in the ammunition ramming mechanism does good to a further consideration of the movement of the projectile mechanism and testing whether the gas pressure can push piston to move and verifying the rationality of the design of the parameters more precisely, which has a guiding role in the production of the late prototype at the same time.
