Commercial pedestrian street is an important component of urban space, it relate to people activities most closely and have a direct impact on the urban microclimate. In winter and summer, study on the relationship between pedestrian space layout and microclimates. Hope to adjust the related factors to change the unfavorable climatic conditions and improve the comfort of users by proactive design approach. That is significant to the energy saving. This paper mainly divided into six parts. The first and second chapter is the basic research. Firstly, through the background research and literature review to understand the relevant research progress and find the problems. Secondly, to study the correlation theories knowledge in qualitative and quantitive methods, and understand the related factors that composed the microclimate. The theoretical studies of the interactions between factors that inflence the microclimate are presented in detail. In addition to sum up the subjective and objective eavaluation methods, to find some research methods and microclimate evaluation criteria that can be used to this paper. These studeis can provide theoretical foundation for the third and fourth chapter. The third chapter is about investigation and measurements. At first, determining the climatic factors that affecting the comfort by questionnaire surveys and behavioral observations. Then, through investigation and measurements to find the climate problem, and make an initial judgment on possible influencing factorThe fourth chapter is computer simulation research and the effect factors judge. It is divided into tree aspects totally. The first is comparative study on the simulation results, and conduct an in-depth analysis of the reason of differences in spatial distribution of climatic elements. The second is to build simplified models according to the main form factor that can effect micro-climate environment and simulation validation respectively. In order to find the interaction rule between the street form and the climatic factors. The third is to evaluate the impact factors. The fifth chapter is strategic studies. Based on the above findings, the scientific and rational optimized suggestion is put forward. Then we proposed four aspects planning strategy, including layout of the street, open space construction, architectural design and landscaping. The sixth chapter is conclusions and perspectives. Summarize the achievements and shortcoming of this paper and propose the forecast to future reseatch.
