This research object is focus on The Shift Strategy for a single axle parallel hybrid electric bus. I take the engine throttle, the motor equivalent throttle and vehicle speed as shift control parameters, making three-parameters shift schedule for it. The research contents of this paper include the following aspects:1:The selection of shift control parameter:The vehicle shift schedule control parameters generally include three:the throttle, the vehicle speed, the accelerated speed. But there are some differences on hybrid electric bus, we need taking the motor into consideration. So, I take the engine throttle, the motor equivalent throttle and vehicle speed as shift control parameters.2:The theoretical study on shift schedule:The research on vehicle shift schedule mainly includes two aspects:The shift schedule based on power, The shift schedule based on fuel economy. The paper will derive the calculation method of the optimal power shift schedule and the optimal economy shift schedule for hybrid vehicle according to the traditional vehicle calculation method of shifting schedule.3:The simulation model:I will build the engine model, the motor model, the battery model, the transmission model, the vehicle dynamic model, the driver model, the controller model by Matlab/Simulink. Then I take my research result on shifting schedule into the model and calculate some relevant data. At last, based on this relevant data, I will evaluate my research result by The Vehicle Shifting Schedule Evaluation Standard.4:The research on Experimental Modeling Method and Theoretical Modeling Method: Experimental Modeling Method and Theoretical Modeling Method often be used when you build the vehicle model. This paper will build the vehicle models by this two methods in respect of model accuracy and simplicity.
