The traditional fire fighting monitoring system in China is simply monitoring signals like temperature, smoke and so on. So only there is fire, the system gives warns to the persons on duty. In recent years, the domestic major fires occur frequently, most of the reasons were that fire fighting equipment can not work normally, which caused significant losses in property and human lives. This paper studies on the monitoring of fire fighting equipment.In order to solve the problem, this paper designs a set of fire fighting pump remote monitoring and management system based on embedded Web Server. The system can make the fire fighting pump work under constant pressure, establish the embedded Web Server and embedded database SQLite.The surveillance system chooses S3C2440A as the embedded processors and selects Linux as embedded operating system. It designs the overall scheme of remote monitoring system of fire fighting pump based on the requests of system functions and analyzes the key technology of system development. The system successfully transplants BootLoader and linux2.6.30 kernel into the ARM platform. It designs the constant pressure control module of fire fighting pump with fuzzy control theory, simulates and verifies it on the platform of Matlab. The simulation results show that fuzzy control algorithm can effectively make the fire fighting pump work under constant pressure. And then the designs of the embedded Web Server achieve the dynamic monitoring with selecting and transplanting the Web server, transplanting CGIC library, configuring Web Server, designing the CGI interactive program and HTML form. At last, this paper introduces the SQLite database, which includes transplantation, design and implementation of the SQLite, and then connection of CGI interactive program and SQLite.Finally, the system designed in this paper has passed the test in the LAN, and makes the administrator monitor and control the fire fighting equipment through the browser, which realize the functions like the real-time monitoring, historical inquiry and remote manual control and so on. The test results show that the system has perfect functions and stable performances, and satisfies the requirements of fire fighting and it has good application prospects.
