With the development of the economy and the progress of the society, the need of energy in the world is increasing but recoverable fossil energy is reducing year by year. The contradiction forces us to keep developing and utilizing new energy. The use of solar energy is one of the effective ways to solve the economy and energy problem in the world. Solar power generation is received more and more recognition and attention gradually. Solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation technology gets the favor of people for its advantages of simple structure, convenient installation, flexible control and so on. Now the major resistances in the development of PV industry in our country are high production cost and low conversion efficiency. Two aspects will be researched and explored in this thesis, one is to reduce the land cost, another is to improve the efficiency of conversion. The main works as follows:(1)Two-axis sun-tracking technology in solar PV power generation system. Based on the law of the solar motion, the characteristics of the solar motion is studied and the trajectory of the sun is calculated. A set of two-axis sun-tracking control scheme is coming out, which is tracking the sun in zenith and azimuth every moment.(2)Sun-tracking technology of quasi two-axis. To bring down the power cost during tracking sun and seek more convenient scheme in the tracking and control process, a quasi two-axis sun-tracking scheme with zenith optimal installation and azimuth tracking the sun is designed.(3)The layout of PV cell array in PV power generation system. According to the different ways of tracking in the PV power generation system, the relevant layouts of PV cell are decided. The PV cell will not shade from each other and the land is made best use.(4)The execute solution design in the PV power generation system. The rationality of the PV power generation system is improving through the optimization of the control, lightning protection, cleaning and other issues.The scheme of PV power generation system in the thesis can increase the conversion efficiency of the PV cell when it is tracking the sun light. Reasonable layout of the PV cell array will help us make good use of the land and reduce the cost of land in the process of production. The scheme in the thesis is a good basis for the construction of the PV power generation system.
