Solar energy as an inexhaustible, clean and renewable green energy, its exploitation has real social significance. However, due to limitations of existing technical conditions, photovoltaic conversion efficiency is generally low, the higher cost of electricity, severely restricted the wider use of photovoltaic power generation, it is necessary to study ways to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation. This paper is a dual axis tracking mode, the automatic control of the angle of incidence of sunlight, thereby improving the efficiency of power generation control system.In this paper, two-axis solar tracking controller has two tracking modes. Under normal circumstances, the use of optical tracking; using a database tracking mode under special circumstances. This will not only ensure accurate tracking and real-time data updates the database, and can exclude the adverse effects of weather. The system uses a four-point basis on the biaxial optical tracking and introduces a new way of tracking database, which can automatically switch the two tracking modes, thus avoiding single -type photoelectric tracking defects, making the tracking performance more stable and reliable.To prevent damage to the solar panels windy weather, the tracking control device detection process by adding the wind, when the wind speed exceeds a predetermined value, the measures taken shelter. In azimuth tracking process, to prevent the tracking device has reached the limit position, the motor will continue to work for other reasons which cause damage to the motor, the tracking device has joined the limit control. To reduce power consumption tracking system, stepper motor control work in process, using a pulse motor in them off after 1 second stepper motor phase current is automatically halved features to reduce energy consumption; while use of the internal clock of the microcontroller frequency, night-down processing to reduce system power consumption.The system microcontroller STC15F2K16S2 to control the core, designed a package of automatic tracking devices. The system is low cost, better tracking, high precision, simple structure, easy to operate, can be widely used in photovoltaic systems, can greatly improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency.
