Tire is one of the most important component parts of cars. With the popularization of cars, Tire is one of the most important parts and components of cars which contributes a lot in the course of driving.The main function is to transmit traction and braking force which can make cars driving and stop freely. Driving comfort and stability can be Guaranteed by its function of loading and shockproof.The tire in providing convenience to people at the same time, there are also significant security risks——tire burst. There are many factors to result in tire burst, and the main and the hardest predictable things are the internal pressure and temperature of tire.Tire Pressure Monitoring System can real-time monitor the internal pressure and temperature of tire and give an alarm in time so that the driver can intuitively know the situation of tire as far as possible to avoid traffic accidents caused by tire burst, and the safety of driving can be improved. Based on this phenomenon, the design of Tire Pressure Monitoring System based on Wireless Sensor Network is proposed.In this text, the influence because of tire pressure and temperature is analyzed. A new-style hardware and software designing scheme of TPMS is studied particularly which combines the theory and framework of wire sensor network and aims at the main technological difficulty on oversized volume; overtopped weight; limited battery life; not real-time monitoring; hard to maintain the stability and reliability of TPMS. In the aspect of hardware, new sensor SP370and radio frequency TDA5220chip of company Infineon are adopted, after delivering collected data to the centre node with singlechip MSP430F149of company TI, drivers can Interact information through digital tube display and alarm unit. In the aspect of software, the internal structure and communication principle of each chip is analyzed, and the appropriate data acquisition, processing, and sending arithemetic is explored focus on low power consumption of tire monitoring module. Wireless radio frequency communication scheme of Manchester encoding, FSK modulation and CRC arithemetic is proposed, which improves the stability and reliability of data transmission.According to the debugging test of hardware and software system, the measurement function of the tire pressure and temperature is realized, and the measurement results are in the range of error and meet the performance requirements of TPMS. Estimates of system power consumption are estimated to forecast service life of TPMS. Finally, design scheme of this test is analyzed and summarized, the shortcomings of the scheme and further research plan are proposed.
