As the central power grid systems, power generation side and distribution side willeffectively link up and assume the functions of transporting electricity. Grid’s efficiency, stabilitydetermines whether the entire power system normal operation, so the transmission networkplanning is crucial. Transmission line grid planning as a basic unit, transmission line routeoptimization to solve problems, to seek a reasonable wiring scheme, so that the power systemstable operation, has become a fundamental goal of grid planning. Transmission line routeselection also involves a number of factors, which include environmental, social, technical aswell as decision-making, etc. These factors not only affect a single transmission line economicand social benefits, but also affected the normal operation of the entire system. Realisticalternative transmission line route is decided on the basis of the starting position, considering thevarious factors in selecting between the start and end of a reasonable path.Due to transmission line through the terrain, environment and so complex, involving diversearea encountered a variety of problems from the start of the selection to the site survey will be.The traditional site survey also increased labor costs and time costs. Hence the need for aconvenient way to make up for the deficiencies of artificial survey. This is the theoretical innovation of thisarticle.3. COPS model based on terrain data transformed tooptimize the selection of an optimal route. This enables the combination of theory andpractice. To make the whole process more intuitive and concrete, this paper combines theadvantages of modeling ACIS/HOOPS platform using C++as the programminglanguage of the entire transmission line route optimization system based on COPS.
