Coal-fired power plant boiler combustion process is a complex thermal control object. The control of Boiler combustion system has always been a hot research topic. With the increase of industrial coal volumes, the environmental problemshas been more and more serious;It is very urgent to reduce the energy consumption and increase boiler combustion efficiency, the optimization of boiler combustion system control research is very important.Boiler combustion process is a progress full of material state change and energy exchange, have many uncertainty elements, nonlinear, delay and time-varying characteristics, so building the boiler burning object model is difficult, determine its model requires advanced modeling techniques. In this paper, a thermal power plant of 130 t/h coal-fired boiler as the research object, based on the pretreatment of combustion process operation parameter data, use the partial least squares methodestablished the model and validated. Because boiler burning process has obvious hysteresis, the system model was built and corrected, have a approximate treatment to the delay item in transfer function, after the verification, the approximate model has high accuracy and good reliability.This paperused the direct generalized predictive control algorithm to control and simulate boiler combustion system. The algorithm has the model prediction, rolling optimizing and online feedback correction function, the strong anti-interference performance and good robustness characteristics ensure the strongstability of the system. By maintaining the stability of the steam pressure, this control method ensured the maximum efficiency of boiler combustion system, keep the furnace negative pressure of the boiler within the specific project requirements, ensured the normal operation of the boiler equipments and the security of the operators,making the coal-fired boiler running in the best condition, has good control effect.
