The proportion of particle packing machinery in the national economy increases year by year, the market prospect of packing machinery is very broad. But many problems are coming at the same time of achievingthe rapid packaging. For example, packaging machine may produce severe shock and vibration, they will lead to the decrease of the mechanical properties and generate serious noise with high speed movement. Empty package phenomenon often appears during packaging particles. The metering devices vary with different particle sizes, etc. In this article, the method of experimental test is used to analyze and improve the packing machine which is based on the finite element analysis technique, dynamic and kinematic theory with the example of the DXDK80-Y1 vertical granule packing machine. All of theseare aiming at improving the quality of packaging, reducing the vibration of packaging machinery, realizinglow noise and high reliability of packaging, avoiding empty bags and improving the efficiency of packaging.In this article, the low efficiency and accuracy of DXDK80-Y1 granule packing machine are improved which combined with the advantages of traditional weighing method and volumetric method to design the adjustable volume meter with the type of measuring cup. All of theseis not only improving the precision and efficiency of packaging, but also reducing the cost of use. The appearance of empty bag which due to human’s negligence during packing is improved by using a new design of an empty packet detection device which can follow assembly line and eliminate empty package at any time rapidly.The finite element modal analysis is used to get the natural frequency and vibration mode of the packaging machine to avoid the resonance of the machine effectively. Ultimately the natural frequency and vibration mode of the packaging machine are determined through the experimental test of transmission system to provide powerful reference data of improving the design of the packaging machine and choosing the rotating speedof transmission system. In this article, the method of experimental test is used to determine the load of distributing shaft and the heat sealing pressure of heat sealing clamp to provide accurate data to improve heat sealing cam and distributing shaft.The transmission system is an important part of the packing machine and it is also the main factors which influence packaging quality.lt has a direct influence on the working speed, running stability, efficiency and other performance of machine.Therefore, it is important to analysis the transmission system.The extreme limit of packaging machine bunker’s rotary speed is determined according to the theory of mechanical and kinematics. Then the transmission system is analyzed by using kinematics. Through the analysis,we get to know the trajectory of speed, acceleration and displacement variation which belong to lateral sealing tongs and longitudinal sealing tongs. The packing machine could work smoothly, noiseand vibration are restrained by optimizing the heat sealing cam.These can prolong the life cycle of the machine and achieve the goal of the optimal design.The stress of distributing shaft is analyzed to find out the dangerous points of packaging machine to calculate and check its strength and stiffness. The finite element model of distributing shaft is established and analyzed to get the distribution of the stress and strain.Taking the necessary measures to improve its strength and stiffness could achieve the goal of optimal design.In this article, the efficiency of packaging machine and packaging quality are improved by combining the experiment measurement with virtual prototype technology and the method of finite element analysis according to the actual operation situation of packaging machine.It has an important value and significance because of increasing the efficiency and packaging quality, improving the development of packaging machine with the direction of high accuracy and efficiency, providing the reference of the further improvement of packaging machine.
