At present, the aerospace enterprises are carrying out a "full 3D mode" of designing and manufacturing, which produces a great impact on the traditional model of transferring information relaying on 2D drawing. This impact reflects information in design from 2D drawings to 3D digital model. The full 3D designing and manufacturing model of the aerospace manufacturing industry is to make the MBD(Based Definition Model) 3D model as the only data source of the design, process and manufacture. As a bridge of design and manufacture, the process plays a vital role in the production of the product. How to use the design information contained in the MBD model to the processing and manufacturing is the problem that the enterprise is now facingBased on the combing of the whole process of " 3D Manufacturing", this thesis analyzes the problem of process and manufacturing in the traditional mode. And based on the technology of MBD, the 3D process assistant system frame for aerospace products is constructed. The framework is researched and developed mainly from the three aspects of CAPP(Computer Aided Process Planning), CAM(computer Aided Manufacturing) and process assistant tools.(1) In terms of CAPP, according to the problem of no-relating about drawings and MBD data model used by the third party software, this thesis presents the design process documents based on NX8.0 database. Through the NX8.0 configuration file customized for enterprise, it not only achieves the function of the technical drawings to inherit the original data in PMI fully, but also will integrate technical drawings into NX8.0.(2) In the CAM module, through the analysis of the process of NC programming based on the MBD 3D model, this thesis proposes some fast programming solutions, and creates the processing method library and the tool library combined with the existing condition of the enterprise. NX8.0 and VERICUT are connected, so numerical simulation becomes more true.(3) In the 3D process support tools, the thesis summarizes functions that are often used in the design process, and some functions are developed and integrated by secondary development based on NX8.0. Each module contains a number of quick small tools, which play an important role in reducing the workload, and improving work efficiency for technologists.Finally, by using the 3D technology of auxiliary system, typical aerospace parts are verified, which further illustrates the feasibility of the auxiliary system.
