Hydraulic excavator is a kind of high energy consumption and bad emission of engineering machinery, the main varieties of earthmoving machinery, with mining and earthwork shipment of two big functions, mainly used for the national infrastructure projects, mining and real estate industries etc. The electric excavator is a new technology of energy conservation and emission reduction situation, improves the structure principle and technical features of the traditional hydraulic excavator, can be in the thin air, closed environment places of work, green and other advantages,forming a new type of engineering machinery by batteries and electric motors as power systems. This paper made a deep analysis energy consumption of the hydraulic system and power system in the small electric hydraulic excavator, the specific contents are as follows:(1) Made a description of development history, future development present situation and development trend of electric excavator, the performance of the structure and the development of the status quo of power battery and the virtual technology to do a simple introduction, and the current situation of the traditional excavator on the problems, which has proven the importance analysis of electric excavator hydraulic system and power system.(2) The characteristics of Matlab/Simulink software and the modeling method of permanent magnet synchronous motor are introduced, and according to the vector control block diagram of permanent magnet synchronous motor of each module was established and simulated, build the model of vector control system, through the parameter regulated, good output waveform has been verified,verifying the rationality of the dynamic system of vector control.(3) According to the principle and structure of load sensing pump, establishes the simulation model of load-sensing pump; according to the structure and principle of load sensitive valve,established a simulation model of the load sensitive valve to Rexroth M4 as an example; reference the actuator of Lin-gong LG660, establishes the plane simulation model of actuator. The hydraulic system of electric hydraulic excavator consists of four parts: load sensing pump, load sensitive valve, reversing valve and the actuator; finally load sensitive hydraulic system simulation model of electric excavator was established in AMESim.(4) Combined with virtual technology, based on the above of power system and hydraulic system of model respectively, co-simulation was carried out using MATLAB/Simulink and AMESim under the light condition. Electric excavator is verified the advantages of low energy consumption, less energy losses, which provides a reference for the study and improve the design of electric excavator.
