With the development of global integration and the return of the manufacturing industry and the development of Internet and globalization, the logistics industry to get fast development. Port as an important part of the logistics links plays an important role. With the rapid development of container transportation, the number of ship to the port is a high-speed growth. This makes some container terminal resource allocation problem is more and more obvious. There have been a series of problems. Such as some ship stranded in Port. How to rational allocation of the port resources and reduce the waste port resources and improve the efficiency of ship handling has gradually become the problem of port management priority. They need to reasonable allocate resources, making full use of resources.First of all, making introductions of the layout and characteristic of container terminal and the loading and unloading process of ship. Combined with actual situation of terminal. Having a deep understanding of the container terminal’s actual scheduling. In this paper, through the study of the container terminal berth allocation and gantry cranes scheduling problem and the analysis of berth allocation and gantry cranes scheduling involves the related influence factors. Put forward the two optimization model of multi-objective optimization objective function. In previous studies, they only analyze the goal function of the time that ships in the port. In this paper, I list two objective functions that the shipping time of ships in port and minimize of the sum cost in berths operating costs and gantry cranes mobile fees.Secondly, this paper describes the relevant knowledge of genetic algorithm, and introduces the principle and process of genetic algorithm, and describes multi-objective optimization problem used genetic algorithm implementation of specific methods.Finally, in this paper, I design the concrete implementation process of container terminal berth allocation and gantry cranes scheduling multi-objective genetic algorithm. Then with a specific case, run the multi-objective genetic algorithm, verify its validity. Through the study of this article, in order to help terminal managers to make decision in the port shore resources configuration. I also hope this paper can provide new thought and ideas for the subsequent port shore resource allocation research.
