With the rapid increasing in the throughput of container terminal and container ships operation time in terminal getting longer and longer, how to reasonably schedule the existing resources of the terminal and improve the overall scheduling level of the container terminal is crucial to reducing the berthing time of ships, the cost of terminal operations and improve the efficiency of terminal operations. This paper studies the integrated scheduling problems of channels and berths resources of container terminal. The mathematical model is built for problem scenarios, and algorithm is designed to solve the problem.Firstly, considering the influence of tidal, inbound and outbound port period and preference berth,a 0-1 integer linear programming model is established to optimize the sum of the berth deviation cost and demurrage cost and the model finally gives the berthing position and entry and exit time of each ship during the planning period. Then, according to the problem definitions and its unique constraints, the original mathematical model is reconstructed by Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition, which is divided into a main problem model and a sub-problem model, and an exact branch-and-price algorithm is developed, which embeds the branch-and-bound and the column generation, and proposes the column selection strategy, branching strategy and the breadth-first search strategy. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified by comparing the scheme obtained by the model and algorithm in this paper with the scheme obtained by the actual operation rules of the terminal;the effectiveness of algorithm is verified by comparing the results obtained by this algorithm with the LP_SOLVE solver;the effect of the length of inbound and outbound port period on the scheduling scheme is analyzed, which can provide the reference for the actual operation arrangement of the terminal.
