As a new type of arc tooth bevel gear transmission, double circular arc profile bevel gearing carries out its transmission by means of meshing between convex-concave tooth profile in both of the direction of tooth trace and the direction of tooth depth, compared with the traditional spiral bevel gears, the arc tooth bevel gear with double circular arc tooth profile has the advantages of high comprehensive bearing capacity, high contact ratio, long service life, high transmission efficiency and so on, and this has been confirmed by the experimental research in recent years. Because of the complex geometry of the double circular arc spiral bevel gear tooth surface, the present study is less and less depth, which has limited its application and extension.Based on the principle of differential geometry and gear meshing, combined with the machining principle of Gleason spiral bevel gear, this paper use the basic tooth profile of double circular arc as the basic, achieving the meshing analysis of Double Circular Arc Profile Bevel Gears in the process of cutting tooth, through theoretical analysis, we obtained the cutting tooth shape tooth surface equations, meshing equation and double circular arc spiral bevel gear tooth surface equation.Based on the meshing analysis, according to the processing principle of simple double-sided cutting method, the actual processing parameters were calculated, the parameters of the cutter position and the cutter position in the process of rough finishing and finishing of the double circular arc spiral bevel gear were obtained, and based on this, the actual processing card of the double circular arc spiral bevel gear was established.Using the expression function of three-dimensional modeling software UG, reference the theory of space curved surface, a series of mathematical equations for generating a series of curves of the tooth surface of double circular arc spiral bevel gear were written, the curve mesh model of the tooth surface of the double circular arc gear was drawn by the expression function, and then the actual tooth surface model of the double circular arc spiral bevel gear tooth surface was generated.Based on multi body dynamics theory, the virtual prototype of the double circular arc spiral bevel gear was built in the dynamic simulation software ADAMS. Seting the known parameters, the change rule of the angular velocity and meshing force of the dynamic meshing process of driving and driven gear was analysed. The rationality of parametric modeling was verified by simulation analysis.Finally, the three pairs of the driving and driven gears are engaged in the assembly, through the connection between UG and ANSYS workbench, the three pairs of the driving and driven gears were imported into workbench, setting the constraint and known parameters gear pair, the static simulation of its instantaneous meshing state was carried out, and analysed the large deformation, equivalent stress and contact stress of the driving and driven gears in the meshing state.
