Study On The Influence Of Lunan High - Speed Railway On Urban Spatial Structure Of Linyi City

Nowadays, China is in a critical period of rapid development of urbanization, the structure of the cities also had a great change under the influence of transport modes. In recent years, with the dramatically improve of China High-speed Railway’s construction, the spatial structure in urban area is affected by traffic location changes. How to accurately grasping the effect of high-speed railway and rationally planning the layout of high-speed railway station area to make sure it can promote the adjustment and optimization of urban spatial structure, is the starting point of this paper.By carding related theories and research articles from China and the world, to clarify the definition of China High-speed Railway and compare its difference between Intercity Railway and Passenger Dedicated Lines. Using different methods such as literature collection and qualitative approach, combining theories with practice, formed three research priorities by taking Shandong High-speed Railway and Linyi City for example.First of all, this paper introduced the developing process of China High-speed Railway in detail. Then analyzed its impact on urban spatial structure and urban system in three levels which are the geographic conditions, the industrial structure and land use pattern. Secondly, expounded the changing course of the spatial structure in Linyi city. Through analysis the data comes to conclusion that traffic is the main factor leads to expansion of Linyi urban spatial, then analyzes how does each traffic factor influence on Linyi urban spatial structur. Better end, depending on all above analysis, summarized what kind of changes can the Shandong High-speed Railway will brings between spatial structure in Linyi city and urban system in southern Shandong province. And providing constructive comments for the development of Linyi city.There are three main conclusions in this paper. First, high-speed railway affects the functional area of the city. High-speed railway to attract a lot of factors surround the high-speed railway station such as population and tertiary industry to become the new center of social activities, then promoting the optimization of urban spatial structure adjustment. Second, high-speed rail changes the way urban land use. High-speed rail passenger station as a gateway to the city and transport hub, improve the urban internal traffic accessibility, directly led to the expansion of the scope of development in urban land use. The selection in urban land use mode will directly affect the high-speed rail station space form and future development, will become the new urban function mixing ribbon. Third, high-speed railway promotes the formation of urban system. The construction of high-speed rail will make the towns accessibility improve and smoothly exchanges the connection between those towns closer. Driving factors to accelerate the gathering of high-speed rail corridor, causing the population, industrial structure adjustment and the expansion of the scale of cities and towns, and ultimately promote the adjustment and improvement of regional urban system.
