At present, the environmental issue has attracted much attention, and renewable resources are being vigorously developed by the countries all over the world. Wind power is widely concerned by the international community because of its rich resources, easy development and high cost performance. Now, wind power has occupied an irreplaceable position in the power grid, large capacity of wind farms grow with each passing day. However, compared to the conventional thermal power, hydro power, the output power of wind farm has larger fluctuations. This defect will inevitably bring some negative effect on power grid operation, therefore, the impact of wind farm in the power grid operating characteristics and access to the grid research is very necessary.Familiar with the output power characteristics of wind turbines is the premise to understand and analyze the impact of wind farm integration on the system. The wind has a large fluctuation, which makes the output power of wind farm also has the characteristics of instability. The characteristics of wind turbine analysis shows that fan operation mode difference and stop time may have an impact on the output power, and damage and the stability of the system is connected to the fan. The impact of wind power integration on power system mainly concentrated to the quality and stability of power system and relay protection and automatic control in the impact on the power grid, voltage of power grid, power grid.Generation scheduling is one of the main contents of power dispatching work, has important significance for the safe and economic operation of power grid. Wind power generation is influenced by natural factors influence with stochastic volatility characteristics, large-scale wind power integration significantly increased the power grid difficulty developing power generation plans. As to the challenge to traditional methods of generation scheduling of large-scale wind power integration, based on the description of the wind power, this paper analyzes and comments on the three main solutions:increase additional spinning reserve, based on the scene of the stochastic programming and robust optimization. The accurate prediction of wind speed can effectively reduce or avoid the fluctuation of wind speed negative effect on power system, in addition, also can increase wind farm in the electricity market competition advantage, accurate prediction results for electricity departments timely adjust planning and scheduling. An important premise of wind farm planning and design is the basis of wind speed prediction; it is also the wind power forecast. Wind speed forecasting is a hot spot of the research of wind power, which improved short term wind speed forecasting method is one of the hot topics in the field. Finally, this paper focuses on the relevant content of BP neural network, and use the neural network to forecast wind speed. Experimental results show that the BP neural network can effectively achieve the short-term wind speed forecasting.
