| In recent years, with the rapid increase of car ownership, environmental pollution has become increasingly serious. In order to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, the major automobile manufacturers have started to improve engine cooling fluid circulation system. The traditional mechanical paraffin thermostat is gradually upgraded to electric heating paraffin thermostat. Due to the existence of "delayed response" and "lag" and other characteristics in paraffin thermostat, has been unable to meet requirements for coolant circulation system with high precision, the paraffin thermostat can’t meet the requirement of high precision of the coolant circulation system. Then the major automobile manufacturers and auto parts manufacturers began to develop electronic thermostat, whether the design of electronic thermostat meets the requirements of performance and function is verified through experiments. A foreign auto parts manufacturer cooperate with us to develop a measurement and control system of electronic thermostat, and this system is used to verify the performance and function of the electronic thermostat.The system works in with electronic thermostat to complete the experiments to verify the design of the thermostat whether is reasonable or meet the requirements. And the system mainly includes coolant temperature, the thermostat valve rotates current acquisition function, SENT protocol parsing, CAN communication interface, data processing upload function and drive thermostat valve rotation function. With Lab View PC interface, you can adjust the parameters of the measurement and control device online, then the interface can display various parameters in the working process of the thermostat and store all the parameters.Focusing on the design and technical specifications for the electronic thermostat control system, the design process of the system and the verification system are elaborated in this paper. |
