Research On Modern Architectural Space Design From The Perspective Of Tactile Experience

In the field of contemporary architecture, the "tactile experience" as a new perspective,gradually attracted people’s attention. Based on this phenomenon, the thesis deals with "tactile experience" as the study object, starting with tactile experience,then analyze the concepts of touch, experience and tactile experience. from four aspects which are hand and foot touch, skin touch, body movement and emotional exchanges to summarizes the association with haptic manner and architectural space experience. and then proceed from perspective of tactile, analyze and summarize the architectural space design under tactile experience perspective from the space object, space materials, space detail and space atmosphere. Based on study’s conclusion,the thesis use "wake up the body: the experience of the space apparatus" as the subject, tactile space design as theme,from generate of space object, selection of space material, treatment of space detail,creation of space atmosphere,the expression of results,etc to explore and experiment. The theoretical exploration and design experiments aims at supplement and improvement to theoretical studies of the architectural space experience under the tactile experience perspective together with some valuable references for the design practice.
