Obesity has been one of four major world social medical problems at present, along with AIDS, drugs and alcohol addiction. It is growing at a rate of doubling every five years. Thus this has become an urgent request for achieving an obesity treatment method in medical which is safe, efficient and swiftly recovery. As a part of the project of "the development of a semiconductor laser lipolysis apparatus", a control system based on STM32 is designed and tested with other modules. The study contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on a thorough analysis of the theory, treatment methods as well as therapeutic efficacy of laser lipolysis, the basic functions and overall program of the laser lipolysis apparatus are determined.(2) Based on the complete scheme and the working performance of semiconductor laser, a integrated LD module meeting medical needs is selected.By analyzing the requirements on driving circuit and temperature control cricuit, a proper laser power supply module is designed.(3) The circuit of the control system of the laser lipolysis apparatus is designed, including control board and display screen. The main controller contains many modules, such as minimum system, power supply module, communication module, power feedback module, temperature monitoring module, human-machine interaction module and so on.(4) The circuit of the control system of the laser lipolysis apparatus is designed, which contains functions of system initialization, power on self-test, real time thermal rating, data processing and transferring, power feedback monitoring, error warning and so on.(5) Module tests of laser diode driver and thermo-control circuit are completed. The light-current-voltage characteristics of laser diode is tested and target current array is gained.Finally, the designed control system is tested with other operating modules. The results show that the control system can coordinate and control each moudle of laser lipolysis apparatus to achieve the aim of expected function and performance.
