| The current focus gradually to urban transport planning "policy guidance" changes from "Facilities Planning", and as a starting point for policy development activity-travel behavior research has become the focus of research in the field of traffic planning. Activity theory is that the family structure, the family property and family resources for individual events-an important impact on travel behavior, and a large number of studies further showed that the elderly as a family activity in a special class of family members, other family members’activities-a significant impact on travel behavior.In China, the elderly and their families have a strong dependency, the traditional family structure in the form of three generations of descendants living together widespread. Mainly limited by current research activities for the elderly-travel behavior characteristic analysis, research built environment, laws and regulations and the elderly Trip Characteristics Adaptability, and study the impact of their elderly family members’activities travel behavior is more rare. Therefore, this paper based on the perspective of the family, other family members of the Elderly activity-travel behavior affect the mechanism of decision-making, for in-depth understanding of inhabitants activity-travel behavior to provide scientific analysis, to provide reasonable support for the development of transport policies.In this paper, family research unit, based on activity analysis, the introduction of activity control theory, than the rate of two families share housework chores indicators to quantify the extent of the contribution of older persons, the definition of the concept of the contribution made by individual household activities to characterize elderly family home sharing on activities, and on this basis the domestic allocation patterns of the elderly into housework bear type, participatory housework, housework unrelated three types. Further activities for the elderly based on pattern classification-Trip Characteristics variance analysis, the different kinds of activities in the elderly objectives, activities frequency, travel time, duration and terms of travel mode and structure activities, there is a big difference.On this basis, this paper construct the elderly family members main activities travel decisions that affect the model, from the perspective of the relationship between different environmental constraints older home with other family members sharing mode corresponding to individual members’activities for the elderly reveal travel behavior Effect mechanism; then, the establishment of the elderly members of the inter-activity-travel interaction model, by controlling the relationship between men and women study the parents as well as the corresponding activity characteristics of the trips, to give effect mechanism to other members of the interactions between the elderly, focusing on the elderly the nature of the activities and the activities of family members-the intrinsic link travel behavior, this model uses three types of elderly family group of samples of data to calibrate the model, by contrast, analysis of various elderly male, matriarch activities-interactive travel constraints relations, quantitative shows the impact of the elderly.
