Shaping The "City Personality" In The Landscape Reconstruction Of Yangzhou Process

City is the product of social historical and economic development, which forms gradually distinct personality and unique humanistic spirit under the promotion of society and economy. However, with the development of socialization and economization, the deficiency of personality in urban construction becomes common phenomenon nowadays. People never lack acuity to find problems, but how to have an insight into deep reasons for problems and seek for an effective way to build urban personality is where the value of the thesis lies.The deficiency of urban personality has caused wide-ranging attention. The writer also has its reflection over the problem. It was the time when landscape along river of Yangzhou workshop was making renovation. I was lucky to take part in the overall process of engineering design team from design to implementation and took the project as research case of graduation thesis to make comprehensive analysis and study. The thesis focuses on the practical theme of inheritance and rebuilding of urban personality, with which to display my research results, at the meantime summarizing my personal experience.
