Road roughness is a major incentive for vehicles. It not only affect the ride comfort,handling and stability, fuel economy and safety of vehicle, but also affect the life of powertrain and driveline. The random dynamic loads of vehicle caused by road roughness not only causes damage to road surface and affect the service life and service ability, but also acts on the buried pipeline through soil, which may bring serious impact on the normal use and safe operation of buried pipeline. However, how to measure the road roughness information and obtain the road virtual model accurately are the key aspects to the dynamic simulation of vehicle.In this paper, a 3D road roughness measurement system was developed on the basis of two-dimensional laser rangefinder.The main factors which affect the measurement accuracy was analyzed, the error sources and the error parameters was determined. A parameters identification and optimization model was established based on the Genetic Algorithm, and the optimum value of calibration parameters was obtained. Based on the calibrated parameters, the coordinate computing formula was modified, and the parameter calibration result was verified by experiment. The impact of laser rangefinder scanning angle, the rotation angle of motor shaft and the step angle of motor on measuring point spacing was studied. What’s more, the optimal step angle and the road measuring range was determined.The point cloud data of two typical road was obtained by self-designed3 D road roughness measurement system.The point cloud data of road was simplified, and the noise was removed with Geomagic Studio, and the digital model of two typical road was obtained. The 3D virtual road model was reconstructed virtually through Delaunay Triangulation Criterion, Triangulation Trowth Algorithm and Nature Neighbor Interpolation Algorithm based on the road point cloud data which had been processed by Geomagic Studio. The spectrum analysis is applied on the 3D virtual road by power spectral density estimation function Pyulear created based on AR model in Matlab, and the road roughness condition of virtual road was obtained.The results of this study can provide accurate virtual road model for vehicle dynamics simulation ane the study of interaction of vehicle-road system, so it has important practical significance. |
