It shows the local regional characters of our city.For the first time, this article put forward the concept -- Small Scale Commerce which is the general character of the Pedestrian Commercial Street of Quanzhou city. This article also tries to analyze such matter to the local regional character as social background and economic condition, then point out that after thousands of years development, nowadays the Small Scale Commerce of Quanzhou city is in difficult situation, it is hard for it now to provides us enough convenience such as tratfic~ environmenf~ commerce~ and so on.Based on the analysis of social and natural conditions of Quanzhou city, following the mode of history?nowadaysuture, using the methods of questionnaire, analysis, comparison, and taking the use of the resource of senior, this article draws the conclusions as follows:First, the Small Scale Commercial Pedestrian Street spread through everywhere in the city, and is a kind of changeable manage mode.
