This paper based on the result of thermal system test of No.2 turbine unit in Liancheng Power Station. Using compare method and thermal system equal quantity analysis method, analysed the factor lowering turbine unit thermal efficiency. In this, the lower turbine's relative intra-efficiency is main factor. The lower condenser's vacuum is second factor. The bigger No. 5 6 high pressure heater's difference temperature is another factor. The paper detaily analysed the reasons that turbine's relative intra-efficiency and condenser's vacuum lowering and No.5,6 high pressure heater's difference temperature rising. It using the thermal system equal quantity analysis method, calculated the value that turbine unit thermal efficiency had been lowered. On every factor, it advanced specific improve plan that had been compared from technique and economy. This improve plan are not only feasible, but also economics. The paper introduced putting into effect improve plan of the No.5,6 high pressure heater. Using Equivalent Heat Drop, analysed economics effect of the improve plan. It compared the result of improve plan from economy and technique. The result proved improve plan not only economics, but also rational.
