The steam condensed water recovery(SCWR) is an important measure of the energy conservation and is applied to kinds of industries. Based on the analysis of the forms and facilities of the SCWR system, the status of SCWR was investigated in the industry of printing and dyeing. Two projects of SCWR system were brought forward and the thermal economics of the SCWR system was studied. In this paper, at first, the benefits of energy conservation, the fixed number of invested-reclaimed year and the rate of reclaiming were calculated with the conventional method-the tech-economy means for the two SCWR projects which were heat pump model SCWR system and jet pump model SCWR system. By the compare of two projects, it was considered that the jet pump model SCWR system was better.Secondly, after calculating the pipeline water power and system heat power of the SCWR system, the thermal economic nature of the jet pump model SCWR system was studied. It considers energy with not only its "quantity", but also its "quality" as well. The thermal economics is the subject that the thermodynamics is associated with the economics, so the price of energy is the key of the association. The exergy analysis and the price of exergy are based on the thermal economic analysis. After the exergy analysis of the jet pump model SCWR system, the accounting thermal economics was used to perform the system's analysis. At last, the"weakness tache" in the system was received and the improvement of system was put forward. Finally the results and methods of calculating for the SCWR system was given as the references of the feasibility > the design and the optimization of the SCWR system.
