This paper introduces the designing idea and implementation technique of model base system in Electric Power Marketing Decision Support System (EPMDSS). For Making the model has excellent expansibility,reusable,support the distributed applications, we introduce component technique to the design and implement of DSS' model base and puts forward how to develop model base system by component-based development method.
