This paper systematically presents the whole process of information collection, transmission and operation of the Full Misson Shiphandling Simulator, which is developed by the Nautical Science and Technology Institute of Dalian Maritime University. It begines with a brief introduction to the background of the project. Then, two important sections are discussed in detail. First, in chapter 2, the design and implementation of the hardware interface circuit system of the Shiphandling Simulator is researched. Second, in chapter 3, the design and implementation of the communication system of the Shiphandling Simulator is studied. In chapter 2, around the widely used Single-Chip Microcomputer(SCM) of MCS-51 series, the design method of SCM application systems are deeply researched, and a complete set of design thought of SCM application systems is given in this paper. Then, according to this design thought, a harjdware interface circuit system of the Shiphandling Simulator is developed. rIn chaptr 3, the principles and technologies of TCP/IP are deeply researched. Particularly, the TCP/IP network application program interface(API)梥ocket, and the Client/Server model of the communication between applications are discussed in detail. Then, under the Visual! C++ integrated developer environment (IDE), a TCP/IP network application based on the Windows Operation System, which ueses the WINSOCK controller, is developed to realize the communication function of the Shiphandling Simulator.
