With the rapid rise of social politics,economy,and culture in China,the use of energy resources has also continued to grow.To speed up the construction of China’s energy conservation monitoring system,standardize energy consumption monitoring systems,promote energy conservation,and improve energy efficiency,the state has formulated and implemented “energy saving and emission reduction."The policy is to strictly control the industrial energy consumption and eliminate all unnecessary waste of resources,especially large-energy-consuming companies.Therefore,for the entire energy-saving and emission-reduction business,the management of energy consumption in thermal power plants is very necessary,and the primary task of control is to collect data.However,the diversification of protocols in the process of acquisition and delivery becomes a major difficulty that needs to be resolved.At present,the commonly used method for this diversified situation is to process data of different protocols through multiple devices,which is not conducive to data collection and analysis.Therefore,the development of a multi-protocol data collection gateway can effectively solve the diversification of this protocol.This work aims at the diversification of thermal power plant data,and combines its actual functional requirements,improves the traditional single-protocol gateway,and designs a multi-protocol data collection gateway for multiple fields.The gateway can not only complete the conversion of common Modbus/RTU protocol,but also can convert other specific protocol letters of users,such as M-BUS bus protocol and DLT/645 series protocol.The above three protocols cover the vast majority of energy consumption data transmission protocols in the fields of water,heat,gas,and electricity.The designed gateway implements the communication between the data interface machine and the field device through an isolated multi-channel RS-485 communication interface channel;the gateway adopts Ethernet for remote data transmission,and can remotely modify some parameters of the gateway according to actual needs.Effectively improve the adaptability of the gateway;this design meets the actual needs of the scene under the premise of hardware using 16-bit microcontroller as the core processing chip,and use software architecture to optimize and improve the hardware,effectively reducing equipment costs,and ease of post-maintenance.In this paper,according to the actual needs of the data acquisition gateway,the functions that the gateway needs to achieve are planned and designed.Then the design process of the gateway is elaborated in terms of hardware and software.Finally,the function of the data acquisition gateway is correct through a verification experiment.Verification.
