In the power transmission system, reactive capacity and active power is closely related to each other, at feeding power load required active power and reactive capacity .If a mount of reactive capacity could be supplied by far location but no local station ,a great deal of reactive capacity and active power would be wasted, and its voltage be descended. On the condinary, much reactive capacity loaded would be bad, and net's voltage would be higher and its security would be influenced. With the needs of reducing line loss, to study the method of compensating reactive capacity has been an important task in power department. In the last few years, our country has done a lot of work in power network constructing , especially distributing power network constructing, stable distributing power network, escalating distribution automation level up.the rural distribution net whose voltage grade is at 10kv~35kv, possess more proportion in the line loss of the whole electric system. And so, it is an important task to develop an energy management system with low-loss and high-benefit for rural distribution net.The theses discussed the energy management system from three aspects: line loss calculation, flow calculation and reactive power optimize.Then computation modules for line loss and flow are built up with considering building out capacitor, with the net communicate system based on the technology of field bus.In order to obtain the most economic benefits, the paper utilized the theory of 'homalographic characteristic' and 'share alike compensation current characteristic' to build up the best compensation relation for 'hour-current' curve applied to transformer substation and for 'length-current' curve applied to distribution line. The software of power system in the research has been developed by VC-H-6.0, with a favorable59 % j?60man-computer interface system and realizing dynamic database link. For the date's reading or writing by two-tree datastructure, the problem updating data or adding new record conviently in net has been resolved by author.
