Plate Vibratory Compactor is the same with building site roadbed and road shoulder road maintain N pitch road surface remedy and tamp of channel and trench, either auto timing tread or original tamp, manipulate simpleness and freely, work efficiency high.Dynamic properties of the plate vibratory compactor are studied, and the compaction process is theoretically discussed in this paper. The foul detail works of this paper are introduced as following:Firstly, the physical characteristics of soil are described, including the fundamental structure, compaction degree and mechanical characteristics in dynamic load.Secondly, the mathematics modal with three degrees of freedom for plate vibratory compactor vs. soil base is established. Methods of mechanical impedance and complex model are used for the determination of system variables like mass, damping coefficient, stiffness and model parameters.Thirdly, through studying the three degrees of freedom model, the results reveal the following conclusion: In the early stage of compaction, the respondence of plate vibratory compactor is pretty much small since the road's stiffness is pretty much low and damping is pretty much high. With the increase of laps for compaction, the road stiffness become big and damping become small, so the system respondence increase gradually. While the system comes into jumping vibration state, the system respondence becomes small again. The simulation charts also show the impacts of other parameters, the conclusion from simulation provides a theoretical bases for designing the plate vibratory compactor. Finally, a design proposed of the plate vibratory compactor is presented in the paper through example.
