ased on the civil and foreign references of the ceramic ball bearings, in view of the Hertz space contact theory and the design of the steel ball bearings, this thesis simulated the changes of max contact stress, geometric parameters of contact ellipse and axial deformation of the ceramic ball bearing, which used in the high-speed electrical principal axis specially and typed with B7007CY, when the axial load is increased. Based on the simulating static mechanical design method, using the external raceway control theory, considering the centrifugal force and the gyro moment, this thesis simulated the changes of max contact stress between the rolling element and the external raceway and the axial deformation of the ceramic rolling bearings in different speed when the axial load is increased. The high-speed principal axis of fixed the ceramic ball bearings and the steel ball bearings were tested. The paper analyzes the testing results of the temperature-rise of the ceramic ball bearings and the vibrant of the high-speed electrical principal axis. All the results of the simulations and the experimentations indicated that the ceramic ball bearings' performances are very good, especially in the low load and high-speed environment.
