Ceramic bearing research starts later in China. So far, our country's ceramics bearing also has certain disparity in comparison with the developed countries about life, limit rotational speed, vibration and temperature and so on. Therefore, this subject about contact, vibration, temperature and optimization studies of B7005C hybrid ceramic angular contact ball bearing has the vital significance for the improvement of ceramic bearing life and limit rotational speed.This paper first calculates contact pressure of bearing B7005C by Hertz theory, and then analyzes its contact, vibration, temperature with the aid of ANSYS. In the contact analysis, first, the contact analysis between ball and flat is simulated, and then its contact pressure solution is in comparison with Hertz contact stress solution. The result indicates that ANSYS is able to calculate contact problem accurately. At last, the contact pressure in three kinds of different actions is computed separately about B7005C, and is verified by Hertz contact pressure. In the vibration and temperature analysis, the reasonable finite element models are established, and natural frequency, mode and temperature distribution are obtained. In the optimization design, the paper does optimization design that takes maximum contact pressure as the objective function and does curvature radius coefficient of inside and outside ring as design variable.The stress and its distribution rule, deformation, natural frequency, vibration mode, temperature condition and reasonable curvature radius coefficient of both inside and outside ring are gotten by optimization design and analysis of three aspects about B7005C. These research achievements have laid the solid foundation with enhancement of ceramic bearing life, reduction of vibration, decrease of temperature and ceramic bearing design.
