| This paper presents a management information system(MIS)layout of Bameng Power Bureau and its substation operation subsystem. The subsystem is based on distribution database structure design. A new database system design method, named as basic working units and data-oriented, is utilized. The subsystem consists of facility management, operation management, security management, working units management, operation ticket management and so on. Its practical operation not only decreases labor of working staff in substations, and also makes a satisfactory contribution to increase management level of power supply enterprises.
