Slagging of boiler heat-absorbing surface is harmful to safety and economical operation of boiler. It is important to study slagging. There are many factors effecting slagging, in which the properties of coal play a final role. The comparatively complete study on the mechanism of slagging is made in this paper from the angle of coal. Slagging is relevant to the design structure and operation condition of boiler. This paper analyses the influence of boiler design parameter and operation condition on slagging. It gets the conclusions useful.
