Since 1980's, with the development of high layer concrete shear wall structure, the problem of the earthquake resistance seems to be particularly important, and how to effectively improve the shear wall structure capability of earthquake resistance and ductility became an important question for discussion. National and foreign scholar pay more attention to this problem, they made a lot of theories study and experience analysis, and brought forward various systems of energy dissipation shear wall structure, such as an earthquake resistance shear wall with the vertical gap, a wall with half-level general gap of ladder form along with diagonal direction, a new ductility low shear wall with damp control device, compound shear wall structure and energy dissipation concrete shear wall with steel tube concrete, etc.According to this thought, this paper bring forward a new type of energy dissipation structure system?energy dissipation low concrete shear wall containing mezzanine rubber cushion. The system is that disconnected the ordinary concrete shear wall along landscape direction in the middle, between which there is mezzanine rubber cushion. The great deformation of mezzanine rubber cushion consumes the earthquake energy and consequently reduce earthquake response of the structure, enlarging self-shake period, build up the capability of the energy dissipation and the ductility of the structure. This primarily contents of this paper is: (1) The structure design method of energy dissipation shear wall is given out. (2) Theory analysis and finite numerical calculation is carried out, analysis of the structure of energy dissipation shear wall compared with integrated wall of the same section is done. The results show that under the condition of ensuring the vertical bearing capability, the structure with mezzanine rubber cushion has good ductility. Damage characteristic of the construction is different from the integrated wall construction. (3) The theory method, nonlinear analysis and resilience characteristic curve of member design are established. Checking computations of an engineering example shows that this energy dissipation system can effectively reduce the earthquake response.
