In this paper, two sorts total six types turbochargers were matched on YC6108ZLQB(168kW/2600rpm) diesel Engine. The test results showed that by the means of increased turbo charge pressure, air impulse and fuel supplied, with the measures of improved engine structure, the engine power can reached 191kW/2400rpm.Besides, the author adjusted the fuel injection system parameters, improved the cylinder honing technique, and selected two kinds of fuel to study the effects to exhaust emission.The experiments result of the exhaust emissions is: NOX?.6 g/(kW.h), PT ?0.14 g/(kW.h). AH had reached the limit of GB17691-1999 phase B, corresponding to Europe II criterion.
