The Analysis Of Soft Ground's Response To Blasting

The paper elaborates necessity and significance of studying the problem on "The Analysis of Soft Ground's Response to Blasting" after the wide collection of various data on "compaction of soft ground with blasting" at home and abroad. Then, through spot experiments, this paper analyzes pore water pressure's variation law and soil's settlement law in soft ground under blasting, and preliminarily discuss the mechanism of pore water pressure's variation and soil's settlement. Furthermore, by the principle of soil dynamics, the equation of pore water pressure's change is deducted in soft ground during explosion and pore water pressure's variation law is analyzed theoretically. What's more, no notable difference is found out between theory's conclusion and trial' after comparing them. At the same time, this paper analyzes the characteristics of soft ground's concretion settlement under explosion according to the knowledge of soil mechanics. Finally, action effects induced by blasting in soft ground are discussed qualitatively, which are effects of accelerating soft ground to settle, overloading effects and cavum effects.This paper makes an assay of soft ground's response to blasting, which avails to studying the inner mechanism of compaction of soft ground with blasting.
