| This thesis is primary about the research on the precise inspection of steel pipe . At this time, almost the most fault detecting instrument only can detect the existing of fault, but can't distinguish the shape or the size of the fault. This thesis uses finity element analysis method in the analysis of the magnetic leakage caused by fault, and gets the templet of the signal caused by the fault of some shape and size through the using of finity element analysis software-ANSYS . The thesis also discusses the gather of the signal and the digital processing of the signal, and the mothed of the precise recognition of the signal.
